WHITEWATER RAFTING TENORIO RIVER

This day tour near Liberia, Costa Rica provides continuous challenges and fun as you plunge through twists, turns and drops down 8 miles of intense rapids. There is even a class 5 drop of 12 feet. It is important to note that all participants must be in good physical condition. This trip is pure magic of incredible beauty and scenery that will take your breath away.

The tour starting point is the Rincon Corobici Restaurant alongside the Corobici River. From there, tour transportation will take you to the Tenorio River. The river rafting lasts about 2.5 hours and includes a snack at the end of fresh fruit, cookies, natural juices and water. Afterward, it is a 55-minute drive to return to the Rincon Corobici Restaurant, where you will have a hot lunch.  

Duration: 5-6 hours (2 hours driving time, 2.5 hours rafting, 1 hour lunch)

What to Bring? Swimsuit and/or quick-dry shirt and shorts, towel, change of clothes, rubber-soled shoes that strap on and can get wet, waterproof sunscreen, sunglasses with secure head strap, and a baseball cap or hat that fits tight.

  • The minimum age for rafting is 12 years old.
  • Pregnant women are not allowed.
  • All participants must be in good physical condition and ready to be active all day.
